I'm not rare because I'm British and a Sherlock fan, that would be ridiculous, but I have been around this fandom since the the beginning and used to write Sherlock Holmes fanfiction before the 2009 film came out and everyone went crazy for Holmes/Watson. I'm on youtube as "doctorcropcircles" and have made a few fanvids if you'd like to check those out.
What I'm interested in right now is doing a few podfics for those writers who spend so much time Britpicking their work only to find that English people are too shy to read fanfiction. Especially in POV work, I think it's important.
